Our wedding ceremony will be taking place in the council chambers, with the wedding breakfast and evening reception in the ballroom.
Step-free and wheelchair access is available for all parts of the building, with a side door and lifts available.
Stockport town hall is based near Wellington Road South (A6).
How
By Car
Stockport town hall is just off Wellington Road (A6) - near Junction 1 of the M60. Car parking is available at the venue, and there are three NCP car parks within walking distance at Merseyway, Redrock and the train station.
By Bus
Stockport town hall is a brief uphill walk from the new bus interchange, but several bus routes stop directly outside the hall itself. The 192 runs from Hazel Grove to Manchester Piccadilly and has frequent services late into the night.
By Train
Stockport train station is across the road from the town hall and is fully accessible. Direct trains run across the country from this station so we would advise checking your route.
Overnight
There are several chain hotels within walking distance, including a Holiday Inn Express (here) and a Premier Inn (here), with more options available in the city centre.
